The Thule Vertical Ski Carrier is a pure and simple roof-top ski rack. The plastic cradles hold 2 pairs of skis upright (on edge), leaving more room on your roof rack for other accessories. Works only with Thule square crossbars. Installs easily, just slide each cradle onto your crossbars and tighten the bolt. Once your skis are loaded, rubber retention straps hold them down to the carrier. This non-locking carrier is easy to load and unload. Add your own cable or lock to provide security if desired. The Roof-top Ski Carrier is designed for 2 pairs of skis - also works with sailboard masts, canoe paddles, or a kayak paddle. Backed by Thule's Lifetime Warranty. Manufacturer's part number: 562
